When you fill out our vaccine interest form, you select your preferred clinic location. Your appointment confirmation email will also list the location for your vaccine clinic.

How should I prepare for my appointment? (updated 3/1)

We look forward to welcoming you for your appointment. You’ll need to:

Bring a photo ID or a utility bill, bank statement, etc. with you to your appointment. You need a form of identification that matches your appointment registration. If you qualify based on your job, please also bring a work ID, business card, documentation of employment on letterhead from the organization or pay stub.
Walk into the vaccination clinic no more than five minutes before your appointment, to help us maintain social distance.
Expect a 15-minute appointment, with a 15-minute wait time afterward.
Wear loose clothing, short-sleeves or a sleeve that can roll up easily.
Do not bring children with you to your appointment. The clinic is very busy and there is no waiting area due to physical distancing.
If you develop COVID-like symptoms (fever, sore throat, cough, etc.) the day of your appointment, please cancel your appointment. You should cancel through your confirmation email. You can reschedule your appointment by calling the Luminis Health COVID-19 Vaccination Call Center at 443-481-6852. The ability to reschedule depends on vaccine availability at the time.
Be prepared to schedule your second dose appointment, if needed. Know your availability for 3-4 weeks after your first dose appointment in order to schedule your second dose.

Can I choose which type of COVID-19 vaccine I receive at a Luminis Health vaccine clinic? (updated 3/1)

Who should not receive the COVID-19 vaccine? (updated 3/1)

At this time, the Pfizer vaccine is recommended for people aged 16 and older. The Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are recommended for people aged 18 and older. Children are not recommended to receive the vaccine at this time.

Also, you should not get the COVID-19 vaccine If you have had a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) or an immediate allergic reaction—even if it was not severe—to any ingredient in the vaccine If you have had a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) or an immediate allergic reaction—even if it was not severe—after getting the first dose of the vaccine, you should not get another dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The CDC also advises that you have a discussion with your provider/physician regarding the risk and benefit of vaccination if you have certain medical conditions:

have a history of severe allergic reactions to medications
have a fever
are immunocompromised or are on a medicine that affects your immune system
are pregnant or plan to become pregnant
are breastfeeding
have received another COVID-19 vaccine
