Luminis Health Names New Chief Information Officer 

Saad Chaudhry

Luminis Health announces Saad Chaudhry as its chief information officer (CIO), effective Nov. 2.  

Chaudhry has more than 17 years of progressive technology experience in the health care industry serving in leadership roles at Johns Hopkins Medicine, the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, McKesson and, most recently, Gartner and the Saudi German Hospitals Group in the United Arab Emirates.  

As CIO, Chaudhry is returning to Luminis Health where he formerly served as associate chief information officer for Anne Arundel Medical Center from 2017 until 2019.

Chaudhry is a certified healthcare chief information officer through the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) and was recognized in 2019 as a “Top Future-50 Leader” by Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Middle East for his transformational IT leadership at Saudi German Hospitals Group. 

Chaudhry holds a Bachelor of Science in information sciences and a Master of Science in communications and information systems from Robert Morris University. He also holds a Master of Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University.
